Personal Biography

Shawn Rose, AT BDT
President

Shawn Rose graduated with Honours from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Architectural Technology program in 1983, and with Honours from the Building Development Technology program in 1984.

In a career spanning over 25 years, Shawn has worked with architects, engineers, home-builders, and home-owners on projects as small as basement developments & decks, to large multi-millon dollar commercial projects, and everything in-between.

Prior to his career in architectural technology, he worked as an engineering draftsman, and he also gained field experience building PWF foundations and modular homes in his family's business. In addition to two major renovation projects on his own homes, his foundation in practical construction has been of immense value as a designer, allowing him to communicate effectively with homeowners and building tradespeople.
